  1. Welcome to AOL's Web Pages Made Easy CD-ROM Training. 
  2. This CD-ROM will help guide you through the powerful
  3. features of AOL's Web publishing tools.
  4.

  6. SETUP INSTRUCTIONS:
  7.  
  8. The CD-ROM has an AutoPlay feature. Training may also be 
  9. accessed by completing the following steps:
  10.  
  11. 1. Insert the AOL CD-ROM
  12. 2. Click the Start button
  13. 3. Point to Programs
  14. 4. Point to Training
  15. 5. Click Web Pages Made Easy
  16.  
  17. A Single User installation will take 
  18. approximately 20 megabytes of hard disk space.

  23. 1. Start Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/2000
  24. 2. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive
  25. 3. Choose Run from the Start button 
  26. 4. Type  D:\setup.exe (If necessary, substitute D 
  27.     with the correct letter for your CD-ROM drive.)
  28. 5. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

  33. NAVIGATION:
  34.  
  35. The Table of Contents button displays an index of the CD-ROM. Each
  36. section of the CD-ROM is organized into topics with
  37. subheadings. Click any topic to go directly to its training.
  38. To close the topics list, click the Table of Contents button again.
  39.  
  40. The Try It button displays a list of choices for interactive training.
  41. Each heading will take you to a lesson window that tests what you have
  42. learned. The Try It segment includes thorough, step-by-step
  43. exercises and a variety of learning tools. To close the list of exercises,
  44. click the Try It button again.
  45.  
  46. The Glossary button displays an alphabetical list of terms
  47. relating to the training in the CD-ROM. Upon clicking a
  48. term, a definition screen defines the word. To close the
  49. glossary window, click the Close button.
  50.  
  51. The Help button opens a set of Web pages that provide
  52. detailed information on using the CD-ROM. This button is located
  53. on the main interface.
  54.  
  55. The Minimize (-) button shrinks the window to an icon and title
  56. bar on your Windows taskbar. Clicking the icon on the Windows
  57. taskbar restores the window. This button can be used anywhere in
  58. the program.
  59.  
  60. The Exit button allows you to exit the CD-ROM. This button
  61. is located on the main interface. Another way of exiting the program 
  62. is to click on the (X) in the upper right corner of each screen.
  63.  
  64. The Play, Pause, and Rewind VCR-style buttons allow you to control
  65. the action on the screen. Clicking the play button more than once
  66. advances you through all of the subcomponents of that topic. Clicking
  67. the rewind button restarts the current movie clip.

  70. WINDOW/SCREEN FEATURE:
  71.  
  72. You can move the window on your screen by dragging the background
  73. area of the window to any location on your screen. This feature
  74. can be used anywhere in the program.
